Yes! We leave Lil-ee-ah and return in 2-3 months (hopefully) to pick her up . . after our court appearance, after a 10-day wait, after 7 days for passport process, after American Embassy in Moscow, after 18 hours of travel. Then home finally. And all this is subject to Russian government and any existing family members of Lilia. Thanks for the comments. We had some good laughs!

Yeah!!! I'm so excited for you guys. Safe travels and a short wait. She sounds like a delightful little girl and I'm sure her pals Suzanne and Kyndra can't wait to teach her to play in the american mud (ok, well, suzanne enjoys that at least!)

What size is she? I know some little ladies who may have some things to share with Lilia - Such a beautiful name. congrats my dear friends! See you soon.

Bethym is right... Suzanne and Kyndra are excited to get a playmate. They need someone to balance out all the boys. This little girl doesn't know what she's in for... There are dozens of people waiting to meet her and play with her. I hope you took lots of pictures!

What excitement and heartache you must feel all at once! Prepare to be mobbed when you get home (what? you're tired and need rest? How selfish of you!) because we are all wanting to know everything and see pictures. Prepare to answer the same questions and tell the same stories a thousand times! Have a safe trip! Give us a call when you get settled back in and rested up!

Well, I've heard that adopting takes as long as actually having a baby... so that is not too bad.

I'm excited for you. May the next 2 to 3 months pass quickly...

After Elisa's pregnancy, IF we have another, we will probably looking at adopting...
