Tomorrow!

To-morrow! To-morrow! I love ya, Tomorrow! You’re on-ly a day a-way!
We have the crib, and Lil’s “Gotcha Day” outfit is packed for the trip to the orphanage tomorrow. R family, you are correct in calling tomorrow “gotcha day”. You know your stuff! Today has been a lazy day. We walked around the “city center”, through Lenin Square, around the Fraternal Park, and down some quiet roads just exploring. We found an antique store, closed of course. Tonight we’re headed back to the Academy of Beer to work on meeting the graduation requirements. HA! If you ever find one in your neighborhood, order the “Tornado”. It’s melted cheese, ham, and tomato wrapped in a soft tortilla. Um, Um Good!
My husband is presently looking through our Russian phrase book, practicing his Russian. Needless to say, he is entertaining himself quite well, and there is not a single Russian sound coming from that mouth. I’m quite amused, you would be too!
Smiles from both of us (and L)

I can't wait to hear about Lilia's first day as a Cope! She's the luckiest little girl in the world. Happy daughter-day tomorrow!

Wow - tomorrow's the big day! Maybe it's the fact that I've been taking hormone shots for the past month, but I'm all teared up for you two. I can't imagine how exciting it will be to take Lilia back to the hotel with you. :)

Hi Guys! I'm in Virginia visiting Sonja, but my thoughts are still with you three. I just got caught up on everyone's comments and I've realized that this dear child has more love coming her way than she's going to know what to do with! I hope she doesn't mind attention! Hey...what do you guys need at your house that we can pick up for you to make your return easier. Groceries would be a start, but is there anything that you are really craving or anything that you need for Lilia that you didn't think of before?
Let us know...

Hi, Andi and Jonah!
We are so excited for you . . . and for Lilia! It gives me goosebumps to consider God's sovereignty in bringing you to this point. Life with a little girl in the house - all sorts of changes are ahead! We look forward to seeing you all - and to watching Caleb in his new role as Big Brother! He's going to be great! Know that our prayers continue - God is good!

We also can't believe the day is finally here. We're soooo excited and happy for you.
I can't wait to see Caleb with his new sister. By the way, girls require a lot of attention...lookout Jonah and Caleb!
Seriously, thank you so much for all of your posts. It has been a bright spot in my day. We will miss them when you get to home.

The Lollars are busy trying to get last minute summer fun in before school starts on Tuesday. Tonight Korinne is hosting sleepover #3 this week! Scott and Drew just came home from the golf course. Drew's been busy with the golf team already and even did an overnight tournament to Bloomington last week.

Looking forward to hearing how your first day goes with little miss Lilia Cope! (Doesn't that sound nice!)

pringyToday (Monday) you get Lilia and we get Caleb! Such a day of transitions. Nona is meeting Marie at the Mills mall and bringing home another boy! We are really looking forward to his blond head and his little ears. You know I see the back of his head quite a bit while he's here as I sit behind him while he plays Wi. He does look over his shoulder to see if I am keeping up with his amazing moves. I have a certain face I wear so I can always looked dazzled at the appropriate times.

We are all so happy for you getting Lilia today. While it is an enormous day of joy for you, it is the beginning of family life for her. Isn't that something? To think she has had no family. I guess what she has missed out on the most is someone to celebrate her. So I am thinking of this as a birthday of sorts, and I know you both are too. We will be anxious to hear how it goes--how she adjusts to the newness of two people devoted to her. It's so wonderful and I'm so proud of you both.
Love,
Mother
